How can I be assured that this technique is superior to conventional methods of injecting dermal fillers? My clinician is highly educated and goes to classes several times a year to keep up-to-date. Isn't this just fancy marketing for the same methods that have been used for years?
"We understand that it is hard to imagine that the ArqueDermaTM technique could deliver such significantly enhanced results. Yet, after teaching our 200 Licensees and demonstrating aspects of the technique to over 2000 health professionals over the last three years in both speaking engagements and trainings, not one clinician has told me they have seen anything like the ArqueDermaTM technique. In fact, it is so unique that several physicians encouraged me to apply for a patent, so now ArqueDermaTM Artistic Restoration LiftTM is a patent-pending methodology."
~ Leslie Fletcher, RN, MEP-C
Here is just one physician's viewpoint. Find more on our Testimonials page.
"This new technique is revolutionary. The ArqueDermaTM technique uses trusted injectable products and orients them in a way that provides much more support for the tissue. It is more effective at eliminating folds and wrinkles than traditional techniques and it rejuvenates the surrounding areas as well. As a plastic surgeon, I have seen many gimmicks promoted in the past, but this technique truly makes a difference." Michael Newman, MD Board Certified Plastic Surgeon, Torrance, CA
Are the products safe? What are the risks?
Licensed ArqueDermaTM Practitioners use the FDA market-approved dermal fillers, Juvederm®, Restylane®, and Perlane®. These dermal fillers have gone through the rigorous FDA (U.S. Food and Drug Administration) submission process, hold market approval, and have been used every day in medi spas and clinics throughout the world since 1996. The single, most important difference is in how they are administered. Only Licensed ArqueDermaTM Practitioners are permitted to use this revolutionary technique.
There is no added risk when administering Arque DermaTM techniques when compared to conventional methods of injecting these state-of-the-art dermal fillers. In fact, because of the dynamic nature of the injection, we feel it is even safer than some current injection techniques.
I believe I really need a complete facelift! Can I expect the same results as I would get with surgery? Will I be able to avoid the windblown, pulled back, puffy cheek look that I see in so many of my friends... and my own mother!
Unlike conventional dermal filler methods that 'fill up' areas, the beauty of the ArqueDermaTM technique is that it targets the structural support of the face, 'reaching in' to bring sunken volume to its original position. We use your own volume, supported structurally (like the frame-work supports a building) to 'lift' the face.
ArqueDermaTM works at the structural level; consequently, the result is a more natural look than most other aesthetic procedures and facelifts. You will not appear puffy, or like you are in an invisible wind tunnel!
Can ArqueDermaTM prevent the signs of aging? Can I avoid facelift surgery altogether?
After the age of 30 both men and women lose approximately 1% of collagen per year. The loss of this vital component to a youthful appearance quickly leaves its mark - especially if nothing is done to replace it. Because the ArqueDermaTM technique actually stimulates collagen production, we encourage patients to utilize it as a preventative measure, as well as a targeted, natural looking facelift. We have found that ArqueDermaTM has been instrumental in allowing patients to delay surgery for years, and sometimes decades, while others can avoid facelift surgery altogether.
Will it hurt? Will I be swollen? How long will it take? How much time do I need to allot for avoiding people?
The ArqueDermaTM technique is similar to other methods of dermal filling in that it is no more uncomfortable than conventional injecting methods. Many patients feel a slight tugging upward during the injection and are actually pleased that they are feeling the 'lift' that they so desperately want, so any 'un-comfortableness' is considered worth it.
Because the technique works at the structural level and not the surface level, there may be a bit of bruising and/or swelling depending on your body's response. Yet, this aspect is essential to stimulating collagen production - one of the important factors in making the technique longer-lasting and sustainable. These possible after-effects can be easily and adequately camouflaged with a good concealer. Many patients show little or no such signs and go on about their day as usual!
Social downtime: the amount of time that you need to feel comfortable in social situations will depend on your body's response to the technique, how quickly it heals, and how comfortable you are in social situations using concealer and simple makeup tricks. We have found that most people do not notice bruising and swelling, only that you look more rested and refreshed!
How long will the procedure take?
This depends on the desired goal, how much product is used, and how much time is spent with the practitioner discussing your enhanced 'look'. If you have not used dermal fillers before, your first session may take more product and time depending on your age, skin damage, and your desired enhancement.
Your Licensed ArqueDermaTM Practitioner will let you know how long you will be in session. Also, you will not need a driver because no drugs are used!
How long will the results last?
Dermal filler treatments will vary from patient to patient, as well as product to product. With the ArqueDerma™ technique, there is an additional benefit of increased collagen stimulation, which means the results tend to last longer than conventional methods of filling.
Will I really save money?
Overall, Arque DermaTM is less expensive when compared to conventional injection methods for three reasons:
1) ArqueDermaTM results tend to last longer than conventional filling methods, so you will not need to have the technique repeated as often;
2) you will purchase less dermal filler product to treat your targeted area; and
3) you will be able to address multiple aging factors in one treatment session.
These three aspects save you money while delivering more sustainable, long-lasting results.
There are two practitioners in my area who are Licensed ArqueDermaTM Practitioners. How do I know which one is the right one for me?
A way to determine which Licensed ArqueDermaTM Practitioner will be best for you is to interview both of them. Questions to ask are: What are their plans for your face? Are they able to tell you what would look best, in terms of volume, on your specific face? Do they listen to your desires and can they make a plan that realistically reaches your goals? Finally, assess the staff and also the patients exiting the treatment rooms. Do they look refreshed, rested and 'lifted'?
If it is not practical for you to visit each Practitioner, we suggest studying the Before and After photos on their websites. You will also want to ask if the photos represent their actual patients, or if they are stock photos.
There are no Licensed ArqueDermaTM Practitioners in my area. Is it really worth driving, or flying, somewhere nearby to receive this treatment?
Yes! We highly suggest that you take the extra effort to find a Licensed ArqueDermaTM Practitioner because the technique is like no other method of injecting dermal fillers. Also, ArqueDermaTM is the most cost-effective approach to using dermal fillers because: 1) less product is used to achieve superior results; and 2) because collagen production is stimulated, the results are more sustainable and longer-lasting.
I want my clinician to offer ArqueDermaTM! How can I introduce them to the technique?
Ask for it by name, tell them about why you want the ArqueDermaTM technique, and send them to this website. Clinicians are always interested in learning new, superior techniques for their patients and to improve their businesses.
Will the results be noticeable?
People will notice a more refreshed look, but no one will be able to tell exactly what is different about you! It is the most effective technique to restore a youthful appearance. Because the ArqueDermaTM technique is based on restoring the underlying, foundational facial structures, you will look more like you did several years ago.
